You will need this (press ctrl+a to see it, it is there) & this for this tutorial
1. First thing to do is get your text tool and enter you text. Then, go to Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options. Or see here for an easier way.
2. Then click on 'Stroke' and set your settings like mine: click here. Then, click on 'Gradient Overlay and match your settings like mine: click here
3. Now, remember this step as you will do it again. Make a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N). Hold down your shift button, and select both the layers you have. Then right click on them and click 'merge layers'. like this. You should now have this
4. Next, go to Blending Options again and click 'stroke' and match your settings like mine: click here. Then go to 'pattern overlay' and using the pattern I gave you, match your settings like mine: click here (If you don't know how to install a pattern, click here)
5. Repeat step 3.
6. Go to Blending Options again and click on 'stroke' and match your settings like mine, using the stripey pattern I gave you: click here. Then go to 'drop shadow' and match your settings like mine: click here
7. Go to Image > Trim. click here
8. You're done!
