gradient on clothes tutorial
This is a tutorial on how to put a gradient on a person's clothes or anything else you find necessary like cameras if it's a mirror picture. If this helps, tell me in the cbox on the side!
This tutorial is very easy.

1. Open up your picture and make a new layer.
2. Get the pen tool and go around the edges of the clothes. When you finish joining the points up, it should look like this
3. Now right click, and click on Make Selection like this. A box will come up after that and this is what the settings should be. Click OK, and your outline will appear to have moving bits around it so now you've made it a selection.
4. Go to Image > Adjustments > Desaturate, like this. This will make the selected area black and white, or greyscale.
5. Look for this button in your toolbar. This is the gradient button. Now just click and hold on the edge of the clothes, and drag it in the desired direction until it reaches the opposite side. It should turn out like this.
6. Now just change the opacity like this. Change the opacity levels to suit your picture. & That is the finished product! :)
You can also change the settings to Overlay, which sometimes makes it a bit better, and just play around with the opacity. If you don't know how to do this just contact me.

If you're confused about anything about this, don't be afraid to ask me about it! The facebook or myspace will be the easiest way to get a hold of me.
